Election Dropbox Easement Agreement Discussion and Request for Approval Recommended Motion:I move the Board of Education to approve the Dropbox Easement Agreement, as presented. 4. Superintendent Search Update The Board of Education will share the next steps in the search for its next Superintendent of Bloomfield Hills Schools. 5. Appointment of Interim Superintendent Recommended Motion: I move the Board of Education to adopt the following resolution, as presented. Be it resolved, that the Board hereby appoints Dr. Randy Liepa as Acting Superintendent of the District effective July 17, 2023, and as Interim Superintendent of the District effective August 1, 2023, until such time that a new superintendent is hired and begins employment, or October 30, 2023, whichever occurs first, pursuant to the general terms and conditions set forth in the attached draft employment agreement. Be it further resolved, that the Board hereby authorizes the Board President to negotiate any needed and/or appropriate language changes in the draft employment contract as may be approved by the District’s legal counsel, whereafter the Board President and Board Secretary may execute such final employment agreement on behalf of the District. 6. Appointment of Investment Officer and Financial Management Authorizations The Board of Education will discuss, designate and appoint an individual to provide oversight and to manage the District's investments, cash management, banking, financial, and procurement authorizations, inclusive of the bond program's activities and associated payment approvals. A motion will be made at the board table. 7. Event Representation Discussion The Board of Education will discuss representation and logistical considerations for ribbon cutting, chamber, and the robotics patent events scheduled for the next 90 days. 8. Framework for the July 27, 2023 Regular Meeting Agenda The Board of Education will develop and finalize the agenda framework for its July 27, 2023 regular board meeting. 9. Planning for 2023-24 Board Meeting Agendas The Board of Education will begin to collaborate on the framework for their meeting agendas through June 30, 2024. 10. Adjournment
