E. Request to Amend 2023 Tax Levy

I move the Board of Education to amend the following millage rates:
General operating of 5.1338 mills (commonly referred to as "hold harmless") for principal residence exemption property, and 9.000 mills for non-principal residence property;
Non-principal Residence Property - Operating 18.0000 Mills;
Sinking fund millage rate of 0.6976 mills on all property;
Debt service millage rate of 2.7500 mills on all property
The millage rates are required to be forwarded to respective taxing units by September 30, 2023.

A. Request to Approve Amended Resolution on the Adoption of the Bloomfield Hills Schools Recreation Master Plan for 2023 - 2027

I move the Board of Education to amend the March 23, 2023 resolution which adopted the Bloomfield Hills Schools Recreation Master Plan as presented, to incorporate the language required by the Department of Natural Resources in the attached resolution, as presented.
B. Request to Approve Resolution of Authorization - Bloomfield Hills Schools DNR Trust Fund Grant Application

I move the Board of Education to authorize Bloomfield Hills Schools to apply for the Department of Natural Resources Land Trust Fund Grant by approving the attached resolution, as presented.
C. Request to Approve Change Order - Bid #1043 Asbestos Abatement

I move the Board of Education to approve a change order to Global Green Services and Arch Environmental Group in the amount of $86,000, for a total of $162,615 to be funded by the 2020 Bond, as presented
D. Request to Approve Student Devices Charging Carts

I move the Board of Education to award the purchase of device charging carts from the REMC Cooperative Bid Consortium (REMC #230010) in the amount of $114,876.19 to be paid from the Bond Fund.
E. Request to Approve Name Change of BHHS Course Offering: Women's Studies & Literature

I move the Board of Education, pursuant to Board Policy 3001, to change the name of the Bloomfield Hills High School course offering "Women's Studies" to "Women's Studies and Literature" , as presented.
F. Request to Appoint Voting Delegates for 2023 MASB Delegate Assembly Board of Education I move that (name of trustee) be appointed as Bloomfield Hills Schools voting delegate, and (name of trustee) as the alternate for the Michigan Association of School Boards 2023 Delegate Assembly on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 7 p.m. the Lansing Center.
