Lieutenant Colonel Harry Stewart, Jr., a decorated military figure during World War II and one of the original four “Top Guns,” shared a historical presentation with about 100 fortunate Bloomfield Hills High School students. The event took place thanks to community member Heather Erickson, whose mother is neighbors with Stewart, and was moderated by social studies teacher Karen Twomey. Social studies staff invited students across grade levels and various history classes to take part in the presentation, to see this living legend within our community. Stewart will turn 100 years old on July 4, 2024.
